MITTAN

Founded in 2013 by designer Takeshi Mitani, MITTAN is a Japanese clothing brand inspired by the history of traditional garments and textiles from around the world. It reinterprets their forms for contemporary life, working with natural materials and weaving and dyeing techniques to create clothes that can be worn and appreciated for years. Through repair, re-dyeing, buyback and resale, MITTAN seeks to preserve the value of each garment and keep it in use for as long as possible.
