After a period of dormancy, Shaka was revived and relaunched in Japan in 2013, Shaka gained global success with its durable sandals and loyal following. The brand aims to blend modernity with its signature style, utilizing innovative techniques and materials. Director Muromachi’s passion for the brand led to collaboration with the South African embassy, reinvigorating Shaka’s legacy in Japan while honoring its roots.
